I was messing around and had a weird idea for a song.
A normal citizen of the Empire (as in Star Wars) who is pissed off because some loud storm trooper is keeping him or her awake at night. The concerned citizen is therefore writing a letter to the editor about it.
I don't have a chorus or anything in mind. Just some words with a lame tune:

Empire Daily: Letter to the Editor
If only we had some light sabers,
We'd end all those feuds with our neighbors.
But Roger and I are just writers.
We're good, but we're no jedi fighters.
Like once, maybe 2 in the morning,
Awakened without any warning,
I stumbled around in a stupor
Incensed at a noisy storm trooper.
I swear, it was loud as a riot
And all that we ask for is quiet.
I don't see the need for their creeping
Around when we want to be sleeping.
They're warriors, but live from the bottle
And turn up their music full throttle
I've tried to be calm, but can't hack it.
I wish they would turn off that racket!
As soldiers they ought protect us,
But first they must learn to respect us.
We need to set standards much higher
These folks represent the empire!
So next time they're making that racket
I think we should dock their pay packet,
'Cause night is when Roger relaxes,
And we deserve more from our taxes!

Anyway, just a weird idea that came to mind if anyone wants to play with it.

Who's Jake?
Jake aka jwgh is one of Interrobang Cartel's founders. He started the original web site and much of the initial project with Talysman.
He does a lot of acoustic guitar solo work. He did alot of the original songs on "Needs More Wanger."
